Another replica boat at China Camp in 2008. This one even more closely reflects flat bottomed American work boats of the 19th and early 20th century. It has a standard western style transom. Boats similar to this one were being built in the Bay Area as tenders for commercial fishing boats and as work boats on the waterfront all the way into the 1960s, although this one has sharper lines than most.
